"We Like Ike"
That campaign slogan from Eisenhower's presidential bid seems sort of ironic to me right now. I've got friends that are weathering the storm down in Houston and I hope that they are doing well. I was listening to reports from Houston on the radio this morning and my eyes welled up with tears thinking about all my friends there. My prayers are with you. I hope that ya'll are safe and that you can escape the damage.

We're all fine. We lost our fence, but that's all.
Hey! We hear that everything is relatively okay there in Pearland. Mostly just lost shingles and fences. Hope you all are doing okay...
Yeah- we now have phone! and internet! So, we have it all- power, water, communications (my last post was not from our house).
