Coming home

I finally got home last Monday!! I have been amazed at first, how emotional it was to see my husband and two of our children again, and secondly how quickly it seems that we have fallen back into our family rhythm.

When I got home I was welcomed by streamers in the entry way and banners and stars in the kitchen. (Jamie put up the stars because he wanted to have a romantic dinner under the starts with me, but it was too cold outside to do it there.) I guess that they really missed me. I sure missed them.

Being away has helped me to see how much we need eachother. I hope that we never have to be apart like this ever again.
